LG SIGNATURE – OLED W7 WALLPAPER
LG Electronics New Zealand today launched its new brand LG SIGNATURE and unveiled the first of its products, the LG SIGNATURE OLED W7 TV; aptly named ‘Wallpaper.’
I’d show you a profile of this 65” OLED TV but at only 4mm thick it would just look like a vertical black line. As the first in the LG SIGNATURE brand to be launched, the W7 sits impressively flush on the wall, utilising magnetic brackets. This means you can ‘peel and stick’ the display to any surface, allowing the television to lay virtually flat and disappear into the wall.
LG’s design philosophy was inspired by the visualisation of each product’s “pure essence”, says Kieran Chapman, Trade Marketing Manager, LG New Zealand. Which in the case of a TV means just moving pictures coming out of a portal.
“By eliminating unnecessary elements, LG SIGNATURE represents the ultimate in elegant simplicity. The W7 Wallpaper OLED display strips away everything to emphasise the beauty of the screen alone.”
The Wallpaper TV is the first in the world to support both Active HDR with Dolby Vision and Dolby ATMOS in one package. In addition, the new and improved range of 2017 LG OLED TVs are 25 per cent brighter than their predecessor models.
“We’re always improving our product innovations at LG to give our customers incredible experiences in the home – and this year we’re certain the 2017 LG TV and Audio Visual range delivers our most premium in-home cinema experience to date,” says Chapman.
The Wallpaper TV debuted at the 2017 CES Show in Las Vegas and won the top CES Innovation Award for video displays – part of more than 45 awards LG claimed for the LG Wallpaper W7 TV at the show. The range will be available across the country from late May.
