Samsung Galaxy S8 Review
The new Galaxy S8 has seen a massive spike of interest in Samsung, with officials throwing numbers around of massive growth for the company.
“The pre-order demand for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ in New Zealand has surpassed all expectations. We have seen over 400 per cent year on year growth, which is our largest pre order ever,” said Todd Selwyn, Head of Mobile Portfolio for Samsung Electronics New Zealand.
“The future is in my hands.” This is what you’ll think holding the S8 for the first time. It really is amazing how much screen there is in what feels like a small phone. The screen is just beautiful. Even now after a week of having the phone I still pull the S8 out of my pocket and go wow.
Stats wise it’s a massive 5.8inch curved screen, 4GB of ram, 64GB of storage, microSD slot, 3000mAh battery with wireless and fast charging, USB type C, headphone jack, 12 megapixel rear camera, 8 megapixel front camera, Iris and finger print scanner, water proof, what else… it’s really fast.
Overall though this is the best phone by a long long way. iPhone users just aren’t even in the game anymore. If you have the cash just buy this phone. The only real competition to this phone is the Samsung S7. So I guess if you had an S7 you may have a reason not to upgrade. Actually, what am I talking about. This is the future. Sell your S7 on trademe and upgrade. Welcome to the future this place is amazing.
