System Shock Remake

Kickstarted back in 2016, this legendary title finally gets its remake. Backers who’ve already had hands on time with the various demos have been happy and impressed with the love put into this remake of the 1994 classic. Without System Shock, there would be no Bioshock, Prey or perhaps even Deus Ex. For those of us who missed it the first time, you can’t miss it the second time round.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Picking up five years after the last game, our protagonist is 25% more ginger than last time with the addition of a beard. Expect more of this award winning formula in one of the most successful Star Wars games of all time.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

This new game takes to the skies with plenty of open air and flying creating a new dynamic of verticality the last game couldn’t quite touch. I’m entirely unprepared emotionally for a new Zelda game. It’s rare for Nintendo to pander to Zelda fans with direct sequels but the insane impact BotW had on the industry as a whole begged for a couple more dollars to be squeezed out of it.
