Join The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has been an established tradition since its founding by Mark Hawwa in Sydney in 2012. The event has since spread to the UK, USA, Canada and New Zealand with big media coverage really getting behind the heart of this campaign.
Men in suits riding vintage motorbikes, raising funds and awareness for prostate cancer and mental health. It’s a really cool way to get behind working with these worldwide problems. This initiative stretches over 650 cities across 95 countries and will result in 120,000 riders taking part alongside The Movember Foundation.
Since their starting, they’ve raised up to $19 million and are hoping to add a further $6 million to the cause this year.
On the 30th of September, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride will stretch up and down the country, with bikers meeting in Auckland, Blenheim, Christchurch, Hamilton, Queenstown, Tauranga, Timaru and Wellington to raise funds. If you want to take part, or make a donation to the cause, details of different meetups can be found on The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride website – gentlemansride.com
