Take A Look Inside Frank Sinatra’s House That’s For Sale
During his lifetime, Frank Sinatra owned six homes spotted mostly around California and New Jersey. All were decked with the latest in state-of-the-art sound systems and mid-century modern architecture. While you can book stays at his iconic Twin Palms retreat with its piano-shaped pool, one of his other properties are up for more permanent grabs.
Sothebys is currently listing what they describe as a “Iconic mid-century compound” built by acclaimed architect William Pereira AIA. Sitting on top of a hill surrounded by mountain ranges, this estate sits up a 2/3 mile driveway overlooking the 1,325-acre Chatsworth Preserve. It has a 50ft pool and a glorious pergola lounge area. Add to that “a separate Gym/Massage room, plus mature landscaping, and rolling lawns that easily accommodate hundreds of guests.”
It has seven bathrooms and seven bedrooms total and has a listing price of US$21,500,000. So only slightly more expensive than what New Zealand would consider a smart first home purchase.
A separate private Guest House is another home all of its own with its own pool and yard.
The listing states that it would be “perfect as a home, or for filming income, or to admire as its own work of art. It is one of the most sought-after locations in LA. Ideal for equestrian facilities, recording studio, vineyard, helipad, or multi-generational living. City approval for 10 homes with a separate entrance that is not seen by the main residence.”
