I Can See Clearly Now with the ECOVACS WINBOT W1 PRO
Sure, I can get AI to do my homework, and even this article (probably), but what about more practical things that would actually improve my life, like cleaning the windows. ECOVACS ROBOTICS, a global leader in consumer robotics is way ahead of me there. 25 years ahead of me in fact. To celebrate their anniversary, they have released the brand new WINBOT W1 PRO – the first time ECOVACS has launched a window cleaner in New Zealand. This gravity defying window cleaning robot is the culmination of decades of R&D after the global release of their first window cleaner back in 2011.
To get it going, simply put it up against the window you need done and sit back and relax. It does its own path-planning so no need to do any babysitting. It can sense edges and frames, and is able to change its route in just 0.02 seconds. Handy for those times the geography of your window suddenly changes. If you do find yourself to be a bit of a micromanager, you can use ECOVACS’ app to remotely control it. Trying it out at the office brought most of the place to a standstill so everyone could marvel at it, so time saved is something that you’ll only achieve later on down the line when the novelty of it wears off.
At home it came in far more use, as large glass balustrades that would normally require a lot of neck breaking work to clean were rendered a simple job by the WINBOT.
It comes with a 60mL reservoir and sprays in a cross motion that makes quick work of grimy windows after it’s finished wiping with its microfibre cloth that leaves no water streaks behind. One of the big improvements is its 2800Pa suction power. This not only keeps it clamped firmly to the window, but also ensures a nice strong wipe, leaving the workspace spotless.
We’re big fans, but everyone really needs to get back to work so I can brag about the time savings the WINBOT creates.
The WINBOT W1 PRO is available now with a recommended retail price of NZ$899 from PB Tech , JB Hi-Fi and Mighty Ape.
