Taika Waititi Chilling In Venice

It’s a given that Taika Waititi would be swanning with the stars. He is after all their puppet master in a way. During the Venice Film Festival he was spotted at the Ca’ Corner della Regina for the Miu Miu’s annual dinner held in honour of the Women’s Tales initiative. Taika has often been seen sporting Miu Miu attire along with his wife, Rita Ora, most recently on the red carpet for the 77th Emmy’s.

Hosted by Miuccia Prada herself, seen hanging out with Pamela Anderson it was a great night, Other notables of the night included our favourite elf Orlando Bloom, honorary elf Amanda Seyfried, Zoey Dutch, and my personal favourite Cailee Spaeny. She kicked ass in Alex Garland’s Civil War, which is no doubt why there’s a tip off she has a place somewhere within his next big film, Elden Ring. She was solid in Alien: Romulus as well, giving her a place within nerd canon long before whatever happens in Elden Ring. Sorry I’m getting carried away. There were other actors there too.

The Women’s Tales initiative was accompanied by fireside chats with the actors although Taika wasn’t on stage for that. I guess it’d be a bad look.
