International follows two new MiB’s, one of them a fresh rookie, in the London branch of the super secret organisation. Efforts to stop an alien threat lead them to go globe trotting, hence the title. In cinemas June 13.
Tolkien
From his orphaned childhood to the World War and back again, Nicholas Hoult takes his first starring role as the legendary writer J. R. R. Tolkien in this biopic. Lily Collins provides the romantic foil. Directed by Dome Karukoski and shackled by the genre, this movie is unable to soar, but it’s still a gentle celebration of an extraordinary man. In cinemas June 6.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix
Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) takes her shot at one of X-Men’s most iconic stories that’s already been told before in X-Men: The Last Stand. As one of the most powerful X-Men, Jean Grey becomes too powerful for her own good. Will the team put her down? Will Cyclops ever not be a dweeb? These questions and more answered. In cinemas June 6.

Here’s the storyline for Luc Besson’s (Fifth Element) action thriller ‘Anna’: “Femme Fatale”. That’s all you really need to know to be honest. The titular character is played by newcomer Sasha Luss, who method acted as a Russian supermodel her entire life, until she got this acting gig playing a Russian supermodel who kills people. In cinemas June 20.
