We have to make sacrifices for our art. Brie Larson knows better than some. Her look at the SAG Awards required her to stand in the car on the way there.
To maintain her physique she wakes at 5am to do ballet, and has a gruelling gym workout on top of that. “Being able to hip thrust 400 pounds, deadlift 200 pounds, push my trainer’s Jeep, I mean, it’s an incredible experience to realise what’s inside of you is well beyond what you knew was possible,” she told Insider.
At the awards she was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series at the SAG Awards for her role in Lessons in Chemistry. In the end the award went to Ali Wong, who featured on the cover of our sister publication M2woman.
