Before the Oscars kick off the who’s who in Hollywood converge on the Hollywood Hotel’s Polo Lounge for the Annual Pre-Oscar dinner hosted by Chanel and Charles Finch. The crowd is star studded, as well as diamond studded thanks to the drip provided by Chanel.

Chanel’s love affair with the stars stretches right back to when French fashion designer Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel used to invite the rich, famous, and talented over for soirees after getting involved in the industry back in the 30s. It started in her own apartment in Paris before shifting to follow the stars in Hollywood. These days Businessman, Charles Finch hosts the parties, doing the honours since 2009, personally greeting each guest. It’s always an honour to be invited, and always has a mix of the established as well as up and comers. No matter where they are in their career though, they all look good.
