Dua Lipa is ‘hotter than hell’
Dua Lipa is hitting all the right notes with her debut eponymous album and she’s definitely got our attention.
The 20-year-old British pop singer has gained a spot on BBC’s coveted Sound Of 2016 list and is racking up a fair few views on Youtube her smash hit “Be the One”, currently sitting at a modest 120 million views. Earlier in 2017 she was picked up by Martin Garrix and features on his single “Scared to be Lonely”, which really put her on the casual pop lover’s radar. After moving to Kosovo for eight years, Lipa returned to London at age 16 to follow on with aspirations of being a singer, and shortly after began working as a model. Lipa describes her music style as “dark pop” and when listening to her slightly gruff-yet-feminine voice it all makes sense. More than just a great voice, Lipa has a certain magic with her music videos too. In the video for her second single from the album Lipa has some creative fun with a clip for ‘Hotter than Hell’ which is about Hades, she has described it is as… “my idea of hell, which isn’t so bad, kind of like the underbelly of London.” With one of the tracks on her album featuring Miguel, we know that she is going to continue her rise.
