Filtered TV Viewing? Filtrie
Doesn’t it get annoying when you’re half way through a television show and you get bombarded with five minutes of advertisements? Or when you’re sitting there with your kid and something pops up on TV that is inappropriate or just damn weird? Well, thank goodness for Filtrie. The company was founded in 2014 by a father of two who had this exact problem. So he got some like-minded people together and they sent out some patents to fix the problem. The modem-sized box that you connect to your TV will read the code being sent out of the screen to filter through the different adverts. The Filtrie application allows you to quickly switch through to the content you really want to see. This product is still in the Kickstarter phase, and hopefully with all the support it’s received thus far, it won’t be long before it’s put on the shelves.
