Fitbit Just Got Smarter
To be fit, or not to be fit? That is the question. And the answer? Well, the global phenomenon known as Fitbit has it. They’ve undergone a whole lot of changes and additions over the years. The slender, sexy watch is a fitness lovers’ dream, but it seemed to be missing an element. This year, Fitbit introduced the Ionic in partnership with the smartwatch producers, Pebble. It’s a smartwatch and fitness tracker combined with some cool features like apps and mobile payments. The Ionic has a colour-screen and appears as a small computer screen, but still with that Fitbit look. The battery power is long, lasting around a week. It tracks all your steps, distances and automatically detects workouts. You can even connect to payment cards, acting on a Paywave system. You can pick them up on the Fitbit website or find them in all good sporting stores for approximately $440.
