Mostro of Ceremony

PUMA is turning heads once again with the return of its iconic Mostro silhouette this time with a new “Pelé yellow” colourway, a fearless fusion of 1960s track style and 1980s surf energy.
If you needed any further proof these are the IT shoes right now, Troye Sivan was recently spotted wearing a pair during his performance at Primavera 2025 in Barcelona alongside Charli XCX. If they’re good enough for Troye they’re good enough for me. You can miss me with those jeans though.
First released in 1999 and given the name “Mostro,” after the Italian word for monster, the silhouette takes its hybrid look from a 1960s track spike and a 1980s surfing shoe, culminating in a unique low-profile silhouette defined by its signature spiked sole and utilitarian strap closure.
Schreiberling Time
Wes Anderson announced last year that he had designed a pen with the equally as fastidious Montblanc. Dubbed the Schreiberling, or “scribbler” in English the pen is a celebration of a hundred years of the Meisterstuck, the flagship pen made by Montblanc. It uses a green colour scheme with an orange accented crown that is all quintessentially Wes Anderson. The pen itself is a continuation of the Montblanc Heritage Collection Rouge et Noir “Baby” pens inspired by the 1910’s and 20’s, This was a different time for pens when they had to fight for the space in your pocket.
This is a limited edition piece with only 1969 being made. It’s own green tin steelcase with red satin interior. In the box is also a ruler, notebook, and box of pen refills. Why 1969? It’s the birth year of Wes Anderson. If you ever considered yourself a fan of things that are good, then you should be a fan of this. Pricing starts at NZ$4,730

The Sands of Time

If you’ve ever been to the UAE, if you’re getting a watch there you’ll probably be visiting the luxury watch and jewellery boutique Ahmed Seddiqi. Now in it’s 75th year of business they have partnered with Ressence to create a limited-edition timepiece, the TYPE 9 S75, of which only 20 pieces have been made, and unfortunately sold out already. But we can still appreciate it for some of it’s more unique aspects. It’s dial has been embedded with real sand sourced equally from all seven Emirates. Symbolically united again in this timepiece at the crossroads of heritage and innovation. On the inside is a ROCS 9 and it’s encased in Grade 5 titanium. This is the fourth Collaboration the pair have had, and each piece has been completely unique, so don’t go expecting a re-release of this one, ever. If you want to be successful you need to be constantly looking toward the future.

The Only Aviators You’ll Ever Need

You know what will never go out of style. A pair of Rayban RB3025 Classic Metal Aviators. These bad boys were originally designed for U.S. Aviators in 1937. They’re timeless, eternally cool, and good enough for the likes of Tom Cruise in Top Gun. Every couple years demand for these things spike, and I don’t see that changing any time soon especially considering that Top Gun 3 rumours are swirling everywhere.
While the glasses come in dozens of variations if you want to get close to the movie look go for the green lenses with gold frame.
