Fly A Kite
Over the last month, we’ve been told by the government to stay inside. To isolate ourselves from the outside world as we witness our lives changing as we know it. After the isolation, we emerged from our houses, blinded by the bright sun, our skin pale and wrinkled. Imagine though if you spent your isolation on Red Yacht Design’s Ice Kite. You’d never want to leave!
In collaboration with Dutch design office, Dykstra Naval Architects, the Turkish studio created a new 64-metre futuristic 500 GT superyacht with a kite sailing hybrid system for lower emissions. The kite system is mounted on the lightweight aluminium hull as a carbon composite superstructure.
With 475 square metres of outdoor space, guests have plenty of space to move around. There’s a beach club, cascading waterfall feature and grand staircase that flows, grandly, down to the water’s edge. In the garage area, you’ll also find a seaplane, a manned submersible and two nifty jet skis!
The inside will offer guest accommodation for up to 10 people in four cabins. The master cabin has direct access to the main deck through a private entrance and a large his/hers/theirs ensuite.
