Get Chilly In Sydney
For those who frequent a trip to Sydney from time to time, the weather (in the summer season) can get a bit steamy. A little treat away from the scorching weather will be its first major winter sports centre, aptly called Winter Sports World. The centre includes a multi-facet operation to mimic the ski field experience for people to play, train, eat and stay. Key features will include a 300 metre advanced snow run, dedicated learning snow run, winter wonderland snow play, Olympic ice rink auditorium, ice climbing, hotel, conference, restaurant and cafes.
Catering for the first-time snow experience, learn to ski, corporate, schools, tourists, through to recreational and advanced skiing / snow boarder training. It will also be a training ground for Winter Olympians in alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snow board, figure skating, ice hockey, speed skating, curling, with the possibility of also catering for cross country and biathlon.
The AUD$300 million centre will also include a 4.5 star luxury hotel with a cosy luscious winter aesthetic and fire-side delights. The winter wonderland is set to take over a huge area of Sydney’s idyllic land upon its opening in Winter 2024.
