How To Rock The Pompadour Look With Confidence
After a much deserved Summer break, M2 took the lads to BarberShopCo to sort them out with some fresh cuts. We left Stephen in the able hands of Emily, who opted to give Stephen a V Fade with Pompadour. In laymen’s terms, this equates to a medium skin fade on the sides which tapers into a V shape at the back. The back opts out of the fade to allow for some heavy definition of the V itself.
Styling
Styling essentials for this look: Bowery Finisher, King Brown Grooming Spray & the Bowery Rakeback.
The Bowery Rakeback should be your go-to if you have unruly hair that needs some control, or for the truly ambitious looks like this one.
King Brown Grooming Spray is a mainstay in a lot of the looks BarberShopCo showcased to us, and this one is no exception. The top of the cut is kept long with plenty of volume on top with texturing through the back.
This look thrives on being slicked back, so use the Bowery Finisher while it’s damp to make it easier to blow dry for a smoother look. Next add the Bowery Rakeback to slick back the look and hold it there with a good shine all day.
The King Brown Grooming Spray helps to get the best volume and hold. After you’ve applied that, finish up with a round brush blow dryer.
