Roasting coffee since 1990, Hummingbird Coffee is what you seriously need first thing in the morning. Sourcing the best coffee beans from around the world has always been Hummingbird’s philosophy, and they’ve certainly made a name for themselves around the coffee circuit.

Based in Addington, Christchurch, the company thrives on freshlymade organic produce from around the world in a manner that helps the communities of their growers as much as possible. Their latest flagstaff product, Harvest, is a medium roast coffee – suitable for all brewing methods. A hand-crafted coffee based on its seasonal, natural and stunning characteristics of flavour. Harvest is a gutsy coffee which can be enjoyed all year round at any time of the day.

Hummingbird also has a charitable trust, becoming heavily involved in the reopening of the Christchurch CBD after the earthquakes. They set up three 40 foot containers within the Re:start mall and donated 30 cents per 200g pack of coffee to help rebuild the badly impacted Court Theatre.
