Luxury And Sporty
Luxury Japanese car brand, Lexus, have been sending out top-quality cars since its establishment 30 years ago. Now they’ve released their first Lexus-branded 650-metre yacht which is set to sail into the market at a cheeky little USD$3.74 million.
Making its public debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the Japanese car maker has been sure to bring a whole wealth of luxury knowledge to this latest creation.
The LY 650 was built by Wisconsin-based Marquis Yachts and features a unique styling, with metallic accents and L-shaped air intakes. From the outside looking in, the yacht looks slick and compact, with the highly rigid composite hull made from carbon-fibre and LY-Link to control connective functional technology. The upper and underwater hull are constructed with carbon fibre reinforced plastic to achieve fluid dynamics and high-speed performance. Striking curved lines offer luxurious and sporty performance which could give the driver the feeling of riding in a coupe, rather than a superyacht.
On the inside, the yacht also offers three bedrooms and a lot of entertainment space too. The advanced design collaboration between Italian yacht studio, Nuvolari Lenard and Lexus aspires to that luxury lifestyle. It offers 12.8 litre Volvo Penta IPS 1200 diesel inline-6 engines which blast 900 horsepower each.
