What’s your morning routine?
Get myself ready then with my wife Natasha launch in to battle with our four year old to get her and ourselves to daycare and work on time.
What are the top three things on your bucket list?
To see my daughter grow in to a confident and
happy adult.
To look back on a happy family and work life.
To see Liverpool play (and win) at Anfield.
What advice would you give your 20 year-old self?
Work a little harder on setting the foundations for life. I am happy with what I have now but regret missing a few opportunities that could have been taken with a greater level of application.
How do you stay motivated?
By ensuring that I have a level of passion for whatever I am doing.
If you didn’t need money, what would you do?
Travel with the family visiting wineries and restaurants around the world. Play more golf.
What is the secret to success?
Practice and persistence and don’t be afraid to fail!
What is the worst mistake you’ve made and how did you fix it?
I slice my tee shots – can’t be fixed!
What is your advice for people to fund their dream?
Advice depends on how expensive their dream is.
What is the best bit of advice, or quote, that resonates with you?
More of a mantra. ‘Every day in every way, you are getting better and better’ An oldie but goodie, told to me on a visit to a fortune teller back in the nineties.
What’s your favourite restaurant?
I am biased as my wife runs the place but Amano in Britomart offers the best of all that I want in a restaurant.
I also can’t leave out The Boulcott Bistro in Wellington – you can’t help but relax and smile as soon as you walk in the door.

What is the secret of living a longer, more successful life?
Look after your health and find out what makes you truly happy.
What makes you feel alive?
My daughters laugh, my family and a great bottle of wine.
