What do you have for breakfast?
Homemade muesli, fruit and a long black.
What is your morning routine?
Wake up at 5, hit the gym, then off to work by 7:30.
What’s your dream car?
If I had a 1967 Shelby GT500 sitting in the garage I’d be pretty happy. Other than the old Ford 4 wheel drive gets me round the place.
What is the top spot on your bucket list?
Making a powerful feature film that effects the viewer at an emotional level and changes their perspective on life is neck and neck with training up for a boxing match then jumping in the ring.
What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?
Keep listening to that quiet voice inside you, it knows much more than what you give it credit for, and follow your intuition. And there’s this thing called Facebook – invent it.
How do you stay motivated?
The thing that motivates me the most is reminding myself who I am and remembering what I’m capable of. When that fails, I remind myself that motivation is fleeting and that I still need to work hard with or without feeling motivated.
If you didn’t need money, what would you do?
I would be making movies and shows, so pretty much what I do now. Also, travel the whole world.
What is your secret to success?
Doing what you have a passion for, working with people that share your passion and having unrelenting focus on your dreams while accepting that the path to your goals won’t always be forged in a straight line.
What is your best one liner?
I don’t really have a go to one liner but I do say “Yup we’ll get it done” a lot.
What is your favourite restaurant to frequent?
Coco’s Cantina is my go to but I also like Burger Geek.
What is your secret to living a longer, more satisfying life?
Finding a way to be as present and as in the now as you can possibly be.
