Metro Exodus
Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light where previous titles in this survival horror first-person shooter series. Set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of the former Russian Federation neither titles did it for me. You were always stuck in underground tunnels in a very linear set up. Exodus though lets you travel outside which made this game so much better and showed off its great graphics. I could finally roam and at least feel like I had some form of control. I would have preferred more variety as it was very much a shooter that didn’t want to deviate from anything but shooting. I did like how it made you take your time though almost giving you the feeling of being lonely. The story line will keep you wanting more and the addictive nature of wanting to constantly up-spec your pistol into a crazy death machine will pull you right to the end. For fans of the series this is a must. For the rest of you this is a pretty good game and worth a look.
