It’s common knowledge that you never bet against Film maker and rolex ambassador James Cameron. He’s a wizard of spinning gold out of concepts that appear to have very little in the way of value.

Bring him anything and he will make it work. A sequel to a B-grade movie like Terminator? Boom, best sequel ever. Need a follow up to Alien, a classic that’s still influencing cinema? Hold his beer, Ridley, Cameron just made the greatest action movie sequel out of your slow burn horror franchise.
Your movie has gone way over budget and there’s no possible way to recoup your costs? Cry me a river while Cameron makes insane amounts of cash from a teen romance on a sinking ship.
It’s the mid 00s and people are getting pretty bored of animated movies. Woops, Cameron just convinced an entire industry to adopt 3D movie technology so he can release his next blockbuster Avatar, which everyone appears to not like, but still paid a ton of money to go see. Just you wait, he’ll be back, when he’s ready. Also, I need that Alita sequel.
