Self-Isolate With These Two Autumn Reads
Ghost Fire
By Wilbur Smith
It had to happen. Our first R18 book in our book review section! We tried hard to keep this a family-oriented section, much to the horror of everyone over 18 years old. But Wilbur Smith’s latest novel is too good not to include. Set in India back in the 1750’s, this story has action, romance and history. A good read for the summer weekends at the bach. Next issue we’re back to family safe reviews… I think…. But who knows now we have had a taste of the forbidden.
Criss Cross
By James Patterson
I have said it before and I’ll say it again, Patterson is prolific. His latest is his 27th Alex Cross. You’ll remember the name from the 3 movies that have been made starring Morgan Freeman as Cross: Kiss The Girls, Along Came A Spider & Alex Cross. Criss Cross is a great, easy read (great layout and font size). Read this one, then catch up on the other 26.
