St Regis Zhuhai
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts date back to the early 1900’s, when American investor and lieutenantcolonel, John Jacob Aster IV, opened up its first hotel in New York City. The hotel was then built on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 55th Street which (if you know the Big Apple well enough) is the most exclusive residential area in the city.
It has risen in popularity and style through the years, boasting celebrity regulars and branching globally to a complete number of 62 hotels.
Now owned by Huafa Group and Marriott Group, the 63rd Regis Hotel is opening its doors in Zhuhai, China, offering a new, luxurious twist to the coastal city in the Guangdong province. Located in the Zhuhai Tower, the hotel spreads over 30 floors and features 251 guest rooms which offers a lavish stay for guests. The St. Regis Zhuhai will also feature local, first-class Cantonese dining at signature restaurant, Social or an Italian experience at, La Brezza, cheffed by seven Michelin-star-owned powerhouse, Michele Tenzone. Guests can pop into the fullyequipped athletic club, a gym and a conservatory to look out over the river channel views between Hengqin and Macau’s Cotai strip.
