The Grand Prix Of Time
For the first time ever the Monaco Grand Prix has a title partner, and it’s none other than TAG Heuer. TAG already had its fingers in plenty of high octane pies, but by becoming the title sponsor in one of the most classiest events of the year they’ve truly staked their claim.
To celebrate CEO Antoine Pin gathered friends and celebrities for an evening on the water just metres from the track aboard Le Bougainville, their iconic yacht. Guests included Lee Jung-Jae, breakout star of Squid Game, Christian Horner, Naomi Schiff and Patrick Dempsey. Oracle Red Bull Racing drivers were also on board to provide some insight to what’s actually happening on the track.

“This moment captures everything our Maison stands for: racing, creativity, precision, and the people who drive us forward. We’re proud to share this energy with the Principality, our partners, and the entire TAG Heuer family,” said Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer.
At the event they also revealed three new pieces. First, the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph x Gulf paying homage to the 1971 film Le Mans where Steve McQueen immortalised the TAG Heuer Monaco on screen. Just 971 pieces were made.

Next was the TAG Heuer Monaco Chronograph Stopwatch, drawing inspiration from 1970s racing instruments. This one was limited to 970 pieces. Finally there was the TAG Heuer Monaco Split-Seconds Chronograph. Made of proprietary grade-5 titanium alloy, it weighs just 85 grams, offering strength and lightness, everything you would want from the F1. On the interior is the TH81-00 calibre, one of the most complex and lightweight split-seconds Chronographs ever produced.
TAG Heuer’s return to the track couldn’t have gone better.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Extreme Sport Collection

The Carrera Panamericana was one of the most deadliest and celebrated races in motorsport history. In the 5 years of it’s original format back in the 1950’s it claimed 27 lives of drivers and viewers as they crossed the Mexican landscape marking it as one of the bloodiest motorsport races ever. It was during the third year of this event when First place winners Karl Kling and Hans Klenk pioneered the use of pacenotes. Pretty incredible considering that during the race navigator Klenk got knocked out after a vulture ploughed through their windscreen as they were taking a long right turn at 200km/h. Despite bleeding everywhere he told Kling to continue till they got to their next stop.
In 1963, the first TAG Heuer Carrera was introduced, a name chosen to represent adrenaline, resilience, and precision. Now in 2025 we’re getting a new evolved form represented by the TAG Heuer Carrera Extreme Sport collection comprised of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport Twin-Time and the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport in solid rose gold. The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Extreme Sport pictured above is crafted in solid 18-carat rose gold, both case and bezel. The gold moves its way into the interior as well with key visual elements, from the hands and sub-counters to the flange and date disc, all detailed in rose gold.
Its beating heart is the TH20-00 automatic Chronograph movement with a vertical clutch and column wheel along with bidirectional automatic winding and an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
To really hammer home that this was designed for champions the caseback is engraved with the Victory Wreath.
