Paying homage to Sir Edmund Hillary’s 1958 Trans-Antarctic expedition, this Parka elaborates on the jackets worn by Hillary and his team with modern technology. A Ventile® shell, as used in the 1958 expedition, finds its way into this current interpretation with certified organic cotton and an eco-friendly Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment that is PFC-free and repels light rain. Likewise, in collaboration with Fairydown, the jacket is filled with ethically sourced goose down omitting any chance of wind penetration. All unique features combine to create a windresistant and stylish design with a nod to a legend.
