Hublot Big Bang Unico Paraiba White Gold 45mm from the Big Bang Paraiba
Swiss luxury watch brand, Hublot, was founded in 1980 and has produced some pretty outstanding watches in its time. They launched their Big Bang collection in 2005 which has been a staple to the brand. Now we get the Big Bang Unico Paraiba White Gold 45mm from the Big Bang Paraiba. The movement is manufactured with a self-winding flyback chronograph with a power reserve of 72 hours. The overall colour has a cool, blue hue of cuprian elbaite and accentuated with rare Paraíba Tourmaline. It’s amazing to think that, on average, a single Tourmaline gemstone is mined for every 10,000 diamonds, so wearing this piece would be wearing a rarity. This watch has a total of 330 different components, 38 of which are solid jewelstones. Its case is satin-finished with polished 18K white gold or polished 18K king gold. With a diameter of 45mm and a thickness of 15.5mm, this watch fits nicely on the wrist, but it does come at a price of USD $274,000.
Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski Sapphire
In 2016, French artist, Richard Orlinski, tweeted the Elizabeth Kenny quote: “It’s better to be a lion for a day, than a sheep all your life.” Which the release of the Hublot Classic Fusion Tourbillon Orlinski Sapphire wrist watch from Hublot’s, the lion is definitely out the cage now. The watch was designed in partnership with Olanski himself with its polished design of sapphire crystal. It also is manufactured with manual-winding skeleton tourbillon movement and has approximately 115 hours of power reserve. A very sustainable and sophisticated watch with a 45mm diameter case with 183 complete components with 25 rubies. It’s also water resistant up to 30m.
