The Watches That Have Defined Daniel Craig’s Bond
Daniel Craig has been swearing that he’ll never do another Bond since 2015, he said he’d “rather slash my wrists” than do another Bond movie. But here he is, wrists intact. In fact throughout his time as Bond they have been one of the classiest parts of him.
James Bond has been wearing Omega since 1995’s GoldenEye. “I was convinced that Commander Bond, a naval man, a diver and a discreet gentleman of the world would wear the Seamaster with the blue dial.” said Lindy Hemming, the Oscar-winning costume designer. Since then her decision has stuck. Brosnan passed the torch to Daniel Craig and Craig hasn’t let the Omega team down. Here are the watches that have defined the last five films.
Casino Royale
Casino Royale was Craig’s debut outing and he had a lot to prove. In this shot, he’s wearing the Seamaster Diver 300M Co-Axial. But throughout the film, he can also be spotted wearing the Planet Ocean 600M Co-Axial.
Quantum Of Solace
In his second outting, Bond is sporting a Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M OMEGA Co-Axial.
Skyfall
During Skyfall, he wears both the Planet Ocean 600M and Aqua Terra when he want’s to look a little bit dressier.
Spectre
Bond went exclusive for his two choices in Skyfall. Pictured is the the OMEGA Seamaster 300 SPECTRE Limited Edition with the striped Nato strap. He also brought back the OMEGA Aqua Terra 150m from last time.
No Time To Die
In the final film, he’s wearing the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition. Does this brake the fourth wall too much? Does Bond buy this watch because it had his name all over it? Not much of a spy if you ask me.
