Baume & Mercier have boldly stepped into their own aesthetic with the Riviera. Having four screws on the front of the 40mm Dodecagonal case with it’s architectural lines and profile makes it feel almost counter cultural, but any misgivings of an industrial aesthetic are completely reversed by it’s elegant dial and it’s slim form factor of just 11.8mm. It has a calendar and day at the 9 and 12 o’clock. The dial is grey with sun-brushed finishes to really make the hands regally stand out. It’s all powered by the Baumatic manufacture calibre.

The Riviera 10786 is limited to just 50 pieces, and each one has been engraved with it’s number on the back.

If you have a penchant for the sea then the Riviera Baumatic Tideograph is the watch for you as it captures the essence of sailing. Powered by a manufacture Baumatic movement it comes with a built-in blue rubber strap with canvas patterning and a high contrast blue design reminiscent of the blue skies and ocean you should be spending all of your time enjoying. If popping on rubber isn’t your thing then you can take advantage of the Fast Strap interchangeability system to switch to a steel bracelet. It’s water resistant to 100m and is encased in an iconically shaped Baume & Mercier 43mm stainless steel dodecagonal case. At the 6 o’clock is a tide indicator, because you need to treat your target market right.
