Watches and Wonders 2024: Parmigiani Fleurier
TORIC CHRONOGRAPH RATTRAPANTE ROSE GOLD
Parmigiani Fleurier brought the Men’s dress watch back in elegant style with their new range of Toric references. Under the guidance of Guido Terreni you have the very epitome of simplicity but on the back it’s nothing but flair and style as you can see the Chronograph Rattrapante on full display. When this much craftsmanship goes into such a seemingly reserved piece you just have to be able to show it off somehow on the odd occasion. Terreni was responsible for the Bulgari Octo Finissimo so it only makes sense.
The dial and case are made of resplendent 18ct rose gold while the glass on the front and back are made of ARunic anti-reflective sapphire. It comes with an alligator bracelet and a 65 hour power reserve.
The TORIC Chronographe Rattrapante is limited to just 30 pieces and will be available from September 2024.
TONDA PF Skeleton Platinum
If you’re putting a down payment on a watch then perhaps conservative dressware watches aren’t always going to cut it for you. Parmigiani is serving both ends of the spectrum by serving up the TONDA PF Skeleton Platinum. It’s everything you love about the TONDA except now with an incredible flowing blue Milano dial of satin-finished bridges showing the movement beneath. The bracelet is made of 950 platinum while the indices are 18ctr gold rhodium-plated appliques. There are no further complications on the dial, this is just about the time and the craftsmanship, nothing more.
The back is equally as impressive showing off the rest of the PF777 Movement, complete with platinum oscillating weight emblazoned with the parmigiani logo. Overall it’s a beautiful piece that stands proud in the lineup of new TONDA pieces.
