Your New Moscot
This season Moscot is dropping six new sets of frames for this season, all with the Lower East Side flavouring built into the legacy NYC brand’s identity. The Maydela, The Moyel, and The Yenem all borrow design elements from Moscot’s family favorites, offering familiar yet refreshed styles to last generations. The Fanagle, with its metal and acetate rectangular aviator, metal brow bar, and reverse Windsor rim, goes a step further to combine the brand’s favourite style elements into one eye-conic frame. Then, The Gavolt and The Shiddock add two unique, yet versatile, shapes. All sunglasses are made with Moscot’s signature Custom Made Tints.
For those wondering why they’d pick a barbers for the photo shoot, Moscot is also introducing the Moscot Acetate Comb, made of premium Italian acetate. The brand started out life as a simple pushcart way back in 1899, and one of the few products Hyman Moscot sold were combs. each Moscot comb comes with a custom zip hardcase, to treat it with the respect it deserves.
“Spring 2024 speaks to the heart of what makes MOSCOT unique: the products we offer and the ‘family’ we’ve cultivated across generations, personalities, styles, all types of uniquities.” says Zack Moscot, 5th Generation & Chief Design Officer. “The collection is as widespread and diverse as those who walk through our doors, yet all connected by a common thread of steadfast style. That is the Lower East Side. That is MOSCOT.”
