2 Great Winter Reads
The Miracle Equation
By Hal Elrod
In my life, there have been 2 influential books. The first was “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki. It was the fastest time I read a book (2 days) and I devoured every word. It changed my view of success and money. The second is “The Miracle Equation”, which is Unwavering Faith + Extraordinary Effort = Miracles. The idea behind the book is simple, but it takes 230 pages for you to understand it. Strongly recommend you get this book. 6 out of 5.
Marked for Death
By Tony Kent
After a lifetime of watching Law Dramas on TV, you notice the lawyers all play the emotional card to win their cases. I have always wondered, maybe actors or entertainers would make good lawyers? Well author Tony Kent is a practicing lawyer and before that a heavyweight boxer. Kent proves my theory could work, an entertainer could be a good lawyer. This is a great novel, with great courtroom scenes, no surprises there. Really enjoyed it. 4.5 out of 5.
