3 Games To Grab This Winter
Street Fighter 6
PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and Series S, PC
Coasting off SF5 released in 2016, we now have a new numbered entry in the series. The roster has new and returning characters and unique resource mechanics for each hero, outside of the usual drive mechanics. A new World Tour mode mixes up the usual single player experience.

Diablo 4
PC, PS5, XSX, PS4, XBO
Blizzard has descended from Olympus and is steadily racing to the bottom to become one of the least liked developers. But by god they’re making a lot of money in the process, going F2P with Diablo: Immortals and Overwatch 2. The beta for D4 strikes a fine balance between the tone of D2 and snappy gameplay of D3. The base edition will set you back $120, and they’ll be waiting on the other side to offer you the season battle pass. Mechanically it’s shallow compared to something like Path of Exile. Maybe support local and play that instead if you’ve got the itch for a dungeon crawler!

Final Fantasy 16
PS5
Perhaps the biggest release of the year… Behind Zelda. FF16 completes the transition of Final Fantasy games moving towards real time combat. By the time you’re reading this, a playable demo should already be out, which will let you carry across all your progress, so barely even any point in me telling you more, give it a thrash!
