Leica For The Discerning

In their second special edition collaboration with acclaimed British designer, Paul Smith, Leica has brought out the Leica CL ‘Edition Paul Smith’. I guess it’s like a self-titled album. The classic Leica has been brightened up with a colourful striped alternative. Not everybody will be able to get their hands on this edition though – only 900 sets are being made. Packaged alongside the camera is an Elmarit-TL 18 mm f/2.8 ASPH. lens and a Neon Rope Strap with Paul Smith and Leica branding. With a length of just 20.5 millimeters, a weight of around 80 grams and fast autofocus, this wide-angle is the perfect lens to take along everywhere you go. Inside, owners will also find their cleaning cloth and certificate of authenticity.

Techwise, it has the same internals as the standard edition, including a 24-megapixel sensor, fast autofocus and a continuous shooting rate of up to ten frames per second.
