Tanqueray Nº Ten Martini is Best Shaken, Not Stirred
As our new confusing traffic light system gets ever less crimson, everyone’s starting to get out more. Those of us content to stay put are still venturing out, and going to the cinemas and getting back to some semblance of the before-times. Perhaps the bastion of these happier days is Bond, who’s latest film we’re finally able to see. Among other things it will remind us all to trot out the old line “shaken or stirred”, and in the case of the Tanqueray Nº Ten Martini, it’s definitely shaken.
Yes, this cocktail recipe is for a premium gin rather than a dirty vodka. But in the words of Bond in Casino Royale, “Do I look like a I give a damn?”
Here’s How to make the delicious cocktail:
Tanqueray Nº Ten Martini
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
HOW TO MAKE IT
Add 50ml of Tanqueray Nº Ten Gin, 10ml Dry Vermouth and the cubed ice into a shaker and shake well.
Strain into a chilled martini glass, and garnish with a twist of pink grapefruit peel.
(Rubbing some extra grapefruit peel around the rim of the glass enhances the flavour)
