Ground Shock
Casio, certainly made the ground shake when they released their G-Shock range in 1983. The first G-Shock watch, the DW-5000C, was made for workers, and was renowned as being durable, simple and fashionable. G-Shock is one of those watch ranges that routinely put forward amazing watches and look cool no matter the wearer’s profession or style.
The G-Shock GA-2100 has the same style and feel as the original octagonal designs of its predecessor and is retro with its analogue and digital form. The watch is complete with a shock resistant carbon core guard structure, resin case, and has up to 200-metre water resistance. At just 11.8 millimetres, it will be the thinnest analogue-digital G-Shock on the market.
The all new use of Carbon in the G-Shock range has allowed for brand new cases to be developed that still retain their concept of Absolute Toughness. Carbon is the third material born in the evolution of toughness, a material that is stronger, tougher and lighter than any material previously used as G-Shock continues to develop its advanced technologies.
This new case comes in three different styles. The GA2100-1A, features black with white accents, the GA2100-1A1 in all black colouring and lastly the GA2100-4A in all red.
The watch retails for NZD$259 and is available from all good G-Shock stockists in store and online.
Note, GA2100-4A not available until early November
