Lamborghini Revuelto SV is here to party
Lamborghini stamped the SV badge onto the Miura in 1971. Since then, Super Veloce indicates a clear mission: maximum performance without compromise. Five decades after the Miura, Sant’Agata applies those same letters to its latest flagship. The Revuelto SV swaggers on stage; an aggressive track instrument for collectors who demand the ultimate expression of Lamborghini.
It’s not only the 6.5-liter V12 engine that revs to 9,500 rpm. Three electric motors assist the ICE. Two axial flux motors drive the front wheels, while a third motor joins the eight-speed double-clutch transmission to drive the rear. In total the system generates 795 Kw (1,065 CV) and an outrageous 1,425 Nm torque. These launch the car from zero to 100 km/h in 2.4s, and 200 km/h in 6.7. In case you are wondering, the front electric motors provide torque vectoring, so all that rage goes in the right direction.
Airflow is also updated. Bodywork has been reshaped to increase aerodynamic grip. A new front splitter directs air toward side radiators, while an angled Gurney flap and fixed rear wing anchor the tail. These revisions deliver an 80 percent increase in total downforce over the base Revuelto. Track work demands thermal management, so new brake cooling channels are added. Front carbon rotors measure 420 millimeters, bringing the car from 200 km/h to a stop in 110 meters.
Inside the cockpit the updates continue. Lightweight carbon fiber covers the door panels, dashboard, and center console. A red rotary dial activates the new Pilota driving mode, offering five distinct stages of traction control adjustment. GT3 passive dampers mean owners can alter stiffness for specific track layouts. There is a lot to this car.
Lamborghini limits production to 1,963 units. The figure honors the year Ferruccio Lamborghini founded the company.
