Leaving All the Other Boats in the Dust
Set to leave all the other superyachts in the dust, Spanish-born Jay Aberdoni has recently revealed the concept plans for his latest megayacht. 83-metres long with a sophisticated exterior design with long, flowing lines from the bow all the way up to the stern, this superyacht is going to be a marvellous addition to the waters when eventualised.
Named Dust, the feeling Aberdoni wanted to capture was one of maybe riding on the back of a comet. In honesty, this superyacht does give an otherworldly feel to it. Drawing connections to the indoor and outdoor spaces of the vessel with low glass stockades and a ‘disguised’ wheelhouse, it sort of makes Dust look like it’s floating in a cloud, on air. On the main deck, the 350 square-metre beach club will be able to cater to the guests for any occasion. Sitting right next to the beach club, a swimming pool and garage with storage for a limousine, Jet Skis and eight-metre tender (because why not?).
The interior too is one to marvel at. Upon entering Dust, guests will be met with a spiral staircase with a curved LED screen to show calming and relaxing images. The staircase twists upwards to an overhanging balcony that connects the main deck, saloon, beach club and terrace to the body of the superyacht. When it comes to colours palettes, the superyacht will feature calm, non-obtrusive vibes. Dust will be able to host up to 16 guests across the eight staterooms. The master suite (for the owner, of course) will be found on the upper deck with access to the saloon and will feature walk-in wardrobes, an office and private lounge. No word as of yet when this superyacht will be made, but we hope very, very soon.
