Operation Bespoke Flying Spur
Is there a surgeon in the garage? Well yes. Bentley has unveiled a one-of-a-kind, bespoke Flying Spur Hybrid at its pinnacle evening event during Art Basel Miami. The unique car was created by Bentley’s in-house personal commissioning division, Mulliner, in collaboration with “The Surgeon,” a leading figure in the custom shoe industry known for his fusion of high fashion and street culture. The Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon follows the launch of a limited edition line of Bentley-inspired sneakers created by The Surgeon.
The Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon is based on Bentley’s recently-released Flying Spur Hybrid, a vehicle that combines a 2.9 litre V6 combustion engine with a powerful E-Motor, making it a key part of Bentley’s Beyond100 journey towards a future of electrified luxury. The exterior of the Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon boasts a duotone Anthracite over Anthracite Satin finish, accented by Satin Bronze brightware, pinstriping, and wheel accents.
The interior of the Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon is equally impressive, featuring unique stitching and embroidery, Satin Bronze accents, and Bronze piping, as well as dual-finish wood veneers with laser-etched skull and crossed scalpel logos and Gloss White pinstriping. The rear doors are adorned with 3D diamond-patterned walnut panels. The Mulliner Blackline specification replaces exterior polished chrome with all-black brightware, while the Styling Specification includes a front splitter, side sills, rear diffuser, and boot lip spoiler in carbon fibre.
In addition to its striking appearance, the Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon boasts a number of features designed to enhance the driving experience. These include a three-chamber air suspension system, Bentley Dynamic Ride, and All-Wheel Steering. The car also comes equipped with a range of advanced driver assistance systems, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Assist, as well as a night vision camera.
The Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon was unveiled alongside two other unique Bentley artworks: the Sager Strong Continental GT Speed Convertible and the Britto Continental GT VS Convertible. The Flying Spur Hybrid x The Surgeon also has the added bonus of a matching pair of “Bentley x The Surgeon adidas Forum Low” sneakers.
