Racing to the Bay
Following the lead of the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls team, which has tweaked its F1 car for the new season, TUDOR has followed suit with the new Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 26”, inspired by the distinctive livery of the team it supports.
Springboarding from the Carbon 25, it retains a lightweight carbon-fibre case and the column-wheel Manufacture Chronograph Calibre. The new touch is a hint of yellow, also found on the engine cowling of the team’s VCARB 03.

The Black Bay Chrono’s iconic Snowflake hands return with a twist, alongside two hollowed black sub-counters designed for optimum readability on the domed dial. Other recognisable characteristics of the Black Bay line, such as the bevelled lugs and TUDOR rose-signed crown, are preserved in a 42 mm carbon-fibre case. The titanium pushers are inspired by the first generation of TUDOR chronographs. A fixed carbon-fibre bezel with a tachymetric scale completes the look and function of this sporty chronograph.
Thanks to a layered dial construction that alternates brass discs and carbon-fibre sheets, the chronograph sub-counters and date-window surround are rendered in carbon fibre.

Boasting a 70-hour power reserve and a silicon balance spring, the Manufacture Chronograph Calibre MT5813 displays hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph and date functions. Its openworked monobloc tungsten rotor is satin-brushed with sandblasted details, while the bridges and mainplate have alternating sandblasted and polished surfaces with laser decoration.
To celebrate another year of the partnership, only 2,026 examples of the Black Bay Chrono “Carbon 26” will be made, each individually numbered on the caseback.
