And Nicholas Appert answered Napoleon Bonaparte’s call for a way to feed his army when on the move, by devising the canning of food as a form of preservation for later use.

All these inventions came about because there was a gap in the market, where the exact product everyone needed didn’t yet exist. Therefore, someone needed to step up, get creative and solve the curly problem for everybody.
