The Spotlight 2 Is Designed to Literally Take the Stress Out of Presenting
If you’re only as good as your tools then Logitech is making sure you’ll never find the upper ceiling of what you’re capable of when you’re using their tech. Take the humble presentation clicker (technical term) for moving through your slides. How do you improve that? Meet the New Logitech Spotlight 2 Advanced, it improved that.
The Spotlight 2 is your ultimate companion while presenting, and from a design perspective takes the original Spotlight and takes it to a new level of style. It has everything you expect from these devices, back, forwards, a laser pointer. The back and forward buttons are convex and concave respectively so you never need to look at your hand to know which button your thumb is placed on. That’s good enough for some companies but Logitech went a couple leaps further to help you manage both the slides and even your own anxiety.
The pointer has five different methods of gesturing, Spotlight, Squarelight, Magnify, Annotate, and Digital Pointer.

If you’re anxious about standing in front of a crowd The Spotlight 2 has a comforting haptic guided breathing experience you can set up via Logi Options+ that helps manage and regulate breathing so you can perform at your best. The soft haptic pulsing is subtle and unobtrusive, I like it.
“Whether a speaker presents daily or is taking the stage for the first time, nerves are natural,” said Joseph Mingori, VP and General Manager at Logitech. “Spotlight 2 is designed to be the steadying anchor in these stressful moments. By combining grounding haptic features that reassure the speaker with enhanced digital capabilities that engage the audience, we are providing technology that lets each presenter take their performance to the next level.”

While you’re in the Logi Options+ take the time to program the customisable action button at the top of the Spotlight 2 that can accommodate all your needs. It can trigger any sort of shortcut you require like start, blank screen, or mute with a single press.
It has a range of up to 30m which is perfect for large stage presentations and easy bluetooth pairing if you forgot your Logi Bolt USB-C receiver. A full charge gives you 3 months of usage, while if you’re caught in a pinch a 1-minute charge will set you up with three hours of use.The Spotlight 2 will be available in Sand, Light Lilac and Black with an RRP of $219.95.
