The Tulip of London

London is one of those cities that is blossoming all the time. Nicknamed as “The Tulip”, the city’s latest big building concept will stand adjacent to “The Gherkin” on 30 St. Mary Ave. With construction starting in 2020, the tower will stand 305-metres tall. Notably, this will make it the second tallest tower in Europe, alongside “The Shard”. Foster + Partners, the architects behind the skyrise, confirmed building plans earlier this year. “The Tulip” is planned to being an art and cultural hub for locals and tourists with observation decks, restaurants, gondola rides and educational expos.
