What The Frock?
This museum in Marrakech focuses entirely on the life and career of famed fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent. The 43,060 square foot space has been designed in true Parisian style by French architecture firm Studio KO. The building itself incorporates Moroccan earth bricks and cubic forms to blend into the sleek desert surroundings.
To pay homage to fashion, the exterior of the building emulates threads of fabric. The museum is home to a whopping 5,000 items of clothing and over 15,000 items of haute couture accessories. There is also a restaurant, gift shop and library with books all about, you guessed it, fashion.
