When Tradition Meets The Future
Reaching a milestone is always an amazing thing for any brand. It gives an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on time gone by, but it also gives opportunity to look, hopefully, at the next century and its numerous possibilities. That’s what marque car brand, Bentley, have done with their birthday celebration.
Instead of a party with cake, they released details on the latest electrical car concept to support their already glowing resume and drive into the future. The concept’s launch year, being in 2023, will welcome the Bentley EXP 100 GT. Its powertrain will deliver up to 2,761 kilometres of torque with four electric motors. If our calculations are correct, that’ll get the EXP 100 GT from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 2.5 seconds. It is also capable of 700 kilometre range and will have self driving capability. Its interior glistens with superlative sustainable materials, like 5,000 year-old wood and bio-based leathers. The car uses a ‘technology suite’ to create a more ambient, relaxing experience. Take Bentley’s Personal Assistant, for example, and its many modes, shown in a hand-cut crystal contraption. From it, the driver can use subtle movements with their hands to change between the drive modes. Other cool features will include touch screen activations, luscious leather seats and a very impressive dashboard. It even features a completely glass roof, making lighting the car very sustainable and cost-effective.
