Your Style Essentials Have Just Dropped
Time for tigers
Lunar New Year is upon us and it’s the Year of the Tiger. As a homage to the celebrations, various watchmakers have brought their A-game, incorporating the Tiger motif into their timepieces.
Our favourite is this Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso Tribute Enamel “Tiger”, fetching somewhere in the ballpark of $154,000. The Reverso series has always been a great playground for creativity. Flipping the face over reveals a diorama of pure artistry and craftsmanship chiselled into the pink gold case of the piece. It doesn’t need to remain on show either, so in 2023 nobody need know your timepiece is emblazoned in tigers. That’s so 2022. The front is where elegant simplicity reigns with the dial of the Reverso Tribute Enamel “Tiger” featuring opaque black grand feu enamel.
Bombs away
As the swelting summer months begin to chill out, it’s time to start considering a new bomber jacket to take the evening chill off a little. The Bogota Bomber II is a Classic bomber jacket in Japanese nylon taffeta with a water-repellant finish. In terms of utility, it has two snap flap pockets at the front, and a zip pocket and snap pen pocket at the left arm. Warmth is retained via the quilted Primaloft️ lining and the rib knit collar, hem and sleeves.
Jimmy Choo, The Urban Hero
Jimmy Choo’s latest fragrance attempts to bottle the essence of being a graffiti artist, with none of the clanking bags of spray cans and furtive glances.
The fragrance adopts a bold, woody approach, opting in favour of sharp scents, with pineapple and blood orange notes most prevalent. The pitch of the fruity notes is balanced by subtler tones of lavender and tonka bean and grounded with a base of sandalwood and moss, creating a powerful but not overwhelming fragrance; one that reflects the fluidity and freedom that defines the graffiti style, and none of the arrests.
Jimmy Choo Urban Hero Gold Edition bottle available in 100ml (RRP $141) and 50ml (RRP $109) sizes.
