Zendaya Works Too Hard

Alongside Pedro Pascal, Zendaya may be the most prolific actor in Hollywood right now. At the moment, she has two films at the box office: Spider-Man: Brand New Day, alongside her husband, Tom Holland, and Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey — also alongside Holland.

I wonder how they compare paycheques. Earlier this year, before all those projects, she appeared in The Drama and the final season of Euphoria. After the dust settles for a month or two, she will be back on the big screen in Dune: Part Three. We can joke about oversaturation, but she puts in the work and it pays off. On her days off, she asks directors whether she can come to set anyway to see how the crews behind the camera make her job in front of it easier.

Speaking to ELLE, she says, “It’s going to be a long year, but what’s great is that I’m really proud of everything. I just really love my job. But I think that after this, I’m going to have to take a little bit of a break.” She adds, “As soon as I take a break, I start to go crazy. And I’m like, ‘I need to work.’”
