Lamborghini Temerario is a new breed of High Performance EV
Recently the Giltrap Group gave us our first local look the brand new Lamborghini Temerario. France was home to it’s international reveal and what a reveal it was.
“The Temerario stands out as the new benchmark supercar within
the HPEV range. Paris, the capital of creativity and avant-garde, was the ideal stage for this premiere.” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman & CEO.
The Temerario is Lamborghini’s second model in the High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) range, following the Revuelto. At the event, a special version of Temerario was unveiled: the Temerario Alleggerita (lightweight), in its Verde Mercurius colorway.
The Temerario features a twin-turbo V8 engine able to reach 10,000 rpm. It boasts a 920-horsepower powertrain, able to reach a top speed of over 340 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.
Throughout the cabin is a sea of carbon fiber, leather, and Corsatex. There’s more interior space than it’s predecessor with it’s low ergonomic seating position.
Grand Prix champion ‘Pecco’ Bagnaia got a chance to take the Temerario for a spin on the track.
“I’d never felt anything like it. Rather than a turbo, it almost feels like it has a naturally aspirated engine with an enhanced intake. Reaching 10,000 rpm is incredible. I was astounded not only by that, but also by how easy it is to drive. It makes for a stunning combination.”’
With this new HPEV supercar Lamborghini completes the hybridization of its entire lineup. The future is here and it’s fast.
